The Other Fifteen

Eighty-five percent of the f---in' world is working. The other fifteen come out here.

Perhaps that's not quite an accurate impression

From Muskat:

Jose Ceda admitted he was a little nervous in his first Cactus League outing and threw some of his pitches too hard. "I want to concentrate," Ceda said. On Sunday, he gave up one hit over one scoreless inning.

All of that is technically true. But here's how that inning played out:

  1. Hit batter
  2. Forceout
  3. Caught stealing
  4. Double
  5. Groundout

I suspect that if the Giants weren't so obsessed with establishing their post-Bonds identity as a team that doesn't score runs a running team, Ceda gets tagged with a run that inning.
